My Story
Hi, I'm Manasa Subramani, your Personal Stylist in Singapore.
Clothes have been a way for me to express myself and embrace the different roles I play in my life.
This might seem surprising, given my background in engineering. However, the truth is that personal style and fashion have always been my true passion.
As a child, I admired my mother's effortless sense of style. She could throw on a crisp white shirt, the perfect pair of jeans, add just a touch of lipstick… and she'd instantly look stunning. Her innate ability to blend simplicity and elegance left a lasting impression on me-and it sparked my love of fashion from the get-go.
My love affair with Personal Style and fashion really ignited in Sydney, when I was doing a master's degree in international business. I then spent two vibrant years working as a celebrity stylist, dressing well-known names in film and sport for magazine editorials, creative shoots and events. Those years gave me a front-row seat to the transformative power of style-and a deep appreciation for fashion's capacity to tell powerful stories.
Suddenly, fashion became much larger than trends. It became a universal language, a way to creatively express who we are and who we want to be, regardless of where we come from.
Who you want to be can change from day to day. And that's what I love about fashion: it enables you to be anyone you want.
My journey from India to Sydney and now Singapore, as well as weight gain and loss, having a child, and many more ups and downs along the way, taught me one thing...
Style doesn't have to be static.
It can (and should) grow and evolve with you.
Fashion doesn't have to feel intimidating, either. It should be a joy, and shopping for it should be, too. My passion for style also extends to helping you with personal shopping and curating a wardrobe that truly serves you.
